Ethnographia also means the same thing, but the objects classified under this term have distinct characteristics. Specifically, these things are those that existed in the different cultures many years ago. They are rare, unique, and very representative of the practices and way of life of the ancient people. The Ethnograpia may serve all types of antique collectors, including the common and serious ones. However, they may evoke more interest from a distinct type of collectors.

Ethnographia objects and artifacts may be in the form of materials relating to the religion of a specific tribe or group of people. These may be carved idols and sculpture of the gods that they have identified in the past. Other objects may directly relate to the daily life of the people. These objects may be specific to their tribes and are not found in other cultures.
Archeologists, historians, and other people in similar fields are among the types of collectors who opt for these kinds of objects. Since their interest usually delve on the histories and the past of a particular culture, having such artifacts allow them to understand more about them. Moreover, having these artifacts is a very rewarding pursuit for them because of their interest field.
